What is the Design Hotels chain code?

The Design Hotels chain codes are DS and DP.

Why does Design Hotels have two chain codes?

Design Hotels offers two membership models for its member hotels, however, both chain codes DS and DP can be used to book our portfolio.

How can I cancel a booking?

Once you are logged into Design Hotels Pro, click on "Bookings" in the navigation bar, select the booking which you would like to cancel and proceed with the cancellation.

Design Hotels Pro is the one-stop-shop for travel professionals. You're able to book stays for you and your clients, have access to a dashboard of all your future, past and cancelled bookings and gain access to the best rates guaranteed. Our dedicated team is available to assist with all bookings placed through Design Hotels Pro, including commission related questions.

How can I add a promo code when booking through Design Hotels Pro?

After selecting a property you can enter promo codes such as 15PCT, TRAVPRO, etc. in the availability grid.

Is there a maximum number of rooms that I can book for my clients on Design Hotels Pro?

You can book up to 4 rooms through Design Hotels Pro; for larger group bookings please contact our dedicated reservations team at [email protected].

What is the Design Hotels cancellation policy?

All our member hotels are independently owned and operated, therefore the cancellation policies vary per hotel. Please check the rate description and/or booking confirmation for further information, alternatively contact our dedicated reservations team at [email protected].

Is Design Hotels part of Marriott International™?

As of February 2021, Marriott International™ fully owns Design Hotels GmbH, however our member hotels continue to remain privately owned and operated.

Do all Design Hotels member hotels participate in Marriott Bonvoy™️?

Where can I check which Covid-19 measures Design Hotels member hotels have in place?

Does Design Hotels offer Travel Industry Rates?

Yes, Design Hotels offers Travel Industry Rates at up to 50% off BAR with promo code TRAVPRO. Once you are logged in to Design Hotels Pro, simply click on "Travel Industry Rates" in the navigation bar and start exploring!

Can I only book the Travel Industry Rate for myself?

Yes, the Travel Industry Rate is valid for bookings for one room per travel ID. Upon arrival, guests will be requested to present a valid travel industry ID per room.

Do all Design Hotels member hotels have MICE facilities?

The majority of our member hotels boast MICE facilities varying from small boardrooms to large conference venues. For more information, please contact our Reservation Team at [email protected].

Are all Design Hotels rates commissionable?

Most rates are commissionable, however there are a few exceptions such as the Travel Industry Rate and Community Welcome Rate. Should you have any question, feel free to reach out to our dedicated reservations team at [email protected].

When will my commission be paid out?

Commission payments are automatically processed by the hotels through Onyx and you should receive the payment within 90 days after departure. With any questions please reach out to the advisor support team at [email protected].

How can I book the Entertainment Rate?

Is the Entertainment Rate available for group bookings?

No, Design Hotels™ Entertainment Rate is applicable for individual bookings only - 4 rooms or less.

Is the 15% commission campaign applicable for all hotels and dates?

Selected member hotels offer 15% commission during summer and winter periods. Book with rate code 15PCT on GDS & Design Hotels Pro within the following arrival dates:

  • 1 June – 30 Sept
  • 1 Dec – 31 Mar

Is the 15% commission applicable on my consortia rate?

Yes, all hotels participating in 15% Commission campaign and consortia programs offer increased commission on your consortia rate on bookings within the following arrival periods:

What is the rate code for the 15% commission campaign?

The rate code for the 15% Commission campaign is 15PCT, which can also be used as a promo code when booking through Design Hotels Pro.

Why do I need a code for Collective?

Collective is an invite-only program, therefore only select advisors can access it. Should you be part of Collective but are unable to access the page, please contact us at [email protected].

How can I update my IATA number on Design Hotels Pro?

Once logged in to Design Hotels Pro, you can update your IATA number under "Profile Settings".

Why am I receiving newsletters?

As a Design Hotels Pro account holder you receive regular communication from us; should you wish to update your newsletter preferences you can do so in “Profile Settings”.

How do I sign up for newsletters or update my newsletter preferences?

Once you create an account on Design Hotels Pro, you are automatically signed up for our newsletters. You can update your newsletter preferences in "Profile Settings" in the navigation bar.

How can I change my email address in my Travel Pro account?

It is not possible to change the email address for your existing account, please create a new profile.

I forgot my password, what do I do?

To recover your forgotten password, visit designhotels.com/travel-professionals/forgot-password/.

How can I delete my Design Hotels Pro account?
