  • Location

    • Just 35 minutes from Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa International Airport, Hotelito at MUSA is a sprawling property and a lost world of pristine coastline and diverse landscapes on the Pacific Coast, Guerrero, Mexico, in the region of Costa Grande. Set along a one-mile stretch of undiscovered beachfront with 177 acres of palm groves and 40 kilometers of undeveloped coast, the property sits on a naturally secured peninsula. This unique escape is a launching pad to spirited nearby towns, including Juluchuca with its local delicacies of coconut candies, watermelon, and basil fields, and generational salt-harvesting; while La Barrita, Papanoa, and Puerto Vicente offer fresh seafood at charming, family-owned beachfront eateries. Petatlán, meanwhile, presents handmade straw rugs, cowboy boots, and hats, as well as a local hospital, schools, and a technology university. Nearby, ancient Mesoamerican ruins and archeological sites reveal a detailed history of the region, as does the ancient city of Xihuacan, with a museum revealing insights into the culture from more than 3,000 years ago.
