Green Certification

EarthCheck Gold

Inhabit Hotels, a West London-based group, has showcased sustainable, responsible design and practices from its inception. Certified by B Corp and Green Key, these hotels exceed industry standards by offering plant-centric cuisine, monitoring and working to reduce overall consumption levels, and converting environmental efforts into sustainable business opportunities. Inhabit Hotels also champion that the modern hotel can exist as a part of its community rather than a bubble for travelers. To embody this philosophy, Inhabit works with local businesses such as Goldfinger, a social enterprise that teaches carpentry to the disadvantaged. Through such partnerships, Inhabit aims to connect to its local surroundings in a way that makes an impact. The group’s focus on holistic well-being ties a thread through its entire approach, with invigorating and restorative practices promoting mindfulness, better sleep, and healthy habits available for guests.

“Our approach is evolving, experimental, and incrementally improving, but above all, it is thought-out and considered.”

Conscious Hotel Principles

Waste

Waste

Nearly all single-use plastics have been eliminated from the hotels with refill and reuse systems used for soaps and shampoos, as well as refillable water bottles and water stations on hand for guests.

Water

Water

Guests can refill their water bottles at Belu filtered water taps. Belu is a UK-based water company that produces carbon-neutral and ethically sourced bottled water. 100% of the company’s profiles go to WaterAid.

Energy

Energy

The hotels use green energy, LED lighting, double-glazed windows, energy-efficient air conditioning, and more.

Architecture

Architecture

Inhabit Hotels believes that the most sustainable buildings are ones that already exist. The team configured exiting hotels to create Inhabit, sourcing sustainable materials and supplies and technologies that match their sustainability ethos.
